Activities
The Salinas Ciclovía planning committee would like to invite your organization to have a booth the day of the event. Organizations are encouraged to provide an interactive or physically activity for the community along with their informational booth. For example, some activities may include: bean bag tossing, jump roping, hula hooping, arts and crafts, face painting, wheel of fortune, etc. Please plan on providing your own tent, table and chairs. We ask that you submit your application by September 14, 2026 to ensure that you are given a space on the route, and so that we can develop the booth map for you promptly. The location of your booth will be announced a week before the event via email. Your contribution and participation is an investment in the continued improvement of the health and overall well-being of our community.
3K Fun Run
To kick-off the event, beginning at 10:00 am, a 3K Fun Run will take place starting on Sanborn & Alisal intersection. Runners will run from Sanborn to Front Street, so prepare your activities accordingly. Also, all booths will be located in the middle of the road in order to better showcase local businesses, encourage new markets and reduce speed of bike traffic.

Volunteers
Adult volunteers (+18) play a vital role in making this event possible. As a volunteer, you will support street safety and closures by assisting at barricade locations throughout the event route.
This year’s Ciclovía Salinas will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
As a thank-you for your support, volunteers will receive complimentary breakfast and/or lunch and be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes.

Los voluntarios adultos desempeñan un papel fundamental para hacer posible este evento. Como voluntario/a, usted apoyará la seguridad y el cierre de calles ayudando en los puntos de barricada a lo largo de la ruta del evento.
Ciclovía Salinas este año se llevará a cabo el domingo 4 de octubre de 2026.
Como agradecimiento por su apoyo, los voluntarios recibirán desayuno y/o almuerzo de cortesía y participarán en una rifa con la oportunidad de ganar diversos premios.
